i currently have a Ford F-150 2005. I am thinking about trading it in for a 2006 Dodge Ram 4X4. My question is, who makes lift ktis for them. I need to run 38X15.50 tires and my mazzi hulks 18X10 with 4.5 backspacing.

also, is the dodge ram a solid axle instead of IFS....im 95% sure it is just making sure though.

i cant answer about the lift kits but i belive that on the 1500 regular cab and quad cabs its IFS, but the mega cab 1500 i believe its a straight axle

and the jheavy duties (2500/3500) are straight axles?

i know tuff country has a 6 inch.....and rancho is coming out with one not sure what size.....but i really wanna run these tires....and mabye go to 40's but not on a 1500......the IFS would die quick haha

 

yea the 2500 and 3500 are all straight axles, yea the ifs would not hold up against 40's thats just giving them a death sentence!!

btw if ya dont mind, why you thinking about trading out of the ford?

 

i LOVE my ford....amazing truck...rides like a sports car...decent if not beter power. GREAT interior and exterior looks.....mods friendly......but ive fallen in love with the Ram body style...the new one of course....and i just simply love it... i also have alwasy wanted a hemi or a cummins diesal which ill be gettin one of the two......and i want a straight axle truck to eventually put 40's on and the dodge is what i like...

the F-150 is my second favorite truck next to ths ram

 

well we all love our truck but the style is pretty good i agree im not a big fan of the "warp speed headlights" but its still a great truck..are you looking to get a regular cab, quad cab or mega cab ram?

 

im getting a quad cab...if i do get it. laramie
