Default 2005 Passanger dooor

I own a 2005 ram xlt single cab. From the day I bought the truck I need to slam the passenger door to close right the first time. I took it back to the dealer and they keep telling me that there is nothing they can do and that a vacuum is what causes it.

I told them that this can't be right because the driver side closes fine. They tell me just to slam and I mean slam the door. Why should I have to this? It is a brand new truck.

Is there anythign I can do.. The door closes fine with the window rolled down a little.

Any response will be greatly aopricated.

Regards,
Gerrit

There must be something that can be done about it. To buy a brand new truck you would expect everything to be right and if not the dealer should be obligated to fix this.

I don't think to be blown of by the dealer and to have them say "just slam the door" is the right thing to do.

Anybody else have an opinin or a solution? Should I contact Dodge directly? How would you go about this or am I being to picky?

i would contact dodge in a heartbeat. especially if its new this should not be happening at all, and slamming cant be that great for a door, i once slammed my moms passenger door on her camry and it is now off track and will not roll up with out being pulled back so it doesn't roll foward in the door!!tell them to fix it and thats it
