I am aware that the rear seats of a Quad Cab can be flipped UP to reveal the area beneath the seats, but I keep reading in reviews that the rear seats can be flipped DOWN, too. Is this possible or a misunderstanding by someone (possibly myself)? I know this is possible in the Mega Cab, but this is showing up in Quad Cab reviews, too.

 

The rear of the quads are secured with fairly large hooks.
Trust me, they are not going to move!

Sounds like they are confusing them with the MegaCab, like you say.

 

yes you can with a little modding:

1. flip up bottom seat and unbolt seats from floor, lift up on seat assb. till the backs un hook from the bck wall

2. take the hoop that bolt to the wall{what the hooks on the seat backs hooks onto} and flip them around{upside down} and bolt them back

3. bolt the seats back to the floor......

now to latch the seat backs back to the wall all you have to do is, lift seat back towards the wall, lift up seat bottom{It will rase the seat back slitely} push the seat back to the wall let down the bottom, to unhook, lift set bottom, pull down on seat back, seat back folds down......

you might have to bend out the seat hooks on the back of the seat a little, just play with it till its easy to hook and unhook
