Default Rain-X

I used the rain-x once on my windshield and now it is time for a reapplication. I don't think I want to reapply it. Does anyone know how to remove it from the glass?

Is there a reason why you dont want to reapply it? I've used it for years and have had really good results with it.

I never leave home with out a bottle in my truck or car. Also I think it should be required use on all windshileds as it sure helps when passing anyone at 70 MPH, even more so if passing a row of cars & trucks who can throw a lot of water on your windshield. But then this is just MHO

Like said above. The stuff works great.

Been using it going on 30 years.

Only use it on the outside of the windshield.

Rain-X is not much more then 90% rubbing alchohol. It works but I prefer to just wax my windows whenever I wax my vehicle, gives the same effect. Wax on your windshield has the exact same effect as Rain-X, last winter I didn't use my wipers all that much except in very heavy rain.

In a pinch you can cut a raw potato in half, then rub the raw side on the windshield. Works like Rain-X.
