Looking for any suggestions or similar problems with this. I have a 04 ram Hemi QC with 18XXX miles. I recently put on 24" wheels and tires. I run 93 octane in it only, and tried octane boster. The first bottle worked fine. After i filled up with gas, and put the second bottle in, when i got home and came to a slow stop, the engine stalled, and cut off. Now, it seems that after I fill up with gas, and have the A/C on, it will stall, or idle rough, when a come to a slow stop. Also, ever since I've had my HEMI, the cruise control wont work right. Once I set the cruise, if I tap the decel. button, nothing happens. If I hold the decel. button for 2 or 3 seconds, the cruise will cut completely off. I've taken my truck to the dealership 4 times to fix these problems.
1st time- Flash the pcm
2nd Time- Flash the pcm
3rd time- dealer says 24" rims are throwing timing off in pcm and cruise control;pcm was programmed for 17" tires; put in program for 24" tires
4th time- "could not duplicate cutting off; informed customer not to overfill vehicle, can send gas into evap system and flood engine on hard stops. Cruise control-vehicle has oversized tries, found pinion factors different in pcm and cab modules. Programmed pinion factors into pcm and cab modules 634 revs/mile"
Will this fix the problem, or is it something else?
