I'd like to change my 06 Sport interior dash/console/door panel pieces over to the Laramie type woodgrain pieces. I have the radio bezel which I bought off of eBay. Now I need the two door pieces and the bucket seat equipped console-top. I went to the dealer and since these aren't in the books yet I need to supply the parts guy with a VIN # from a truck that has these pieces so he can look them up (???) anyone got one of these rigs???

You have me confused, because all have the woodgrain radio surround. The Laramies then have brushed aluminum trim - no woodgrain.

 

Also.. '06 has been in the book for quite a while.
And even if they werent the VIN isnt going to help.....

 

Mine is an 06 Sport - no wood. I have leather bucket seats with the full console. The trim looks to be a carbon fiber pattern - HATE IT!

I'll gladly swap it out with anyone!

I found it odd that the Dodge parts guy had that as a response as well...

 

Ummm, you're probably not going to get anyone to give you their full VIN with a such as suspect request as posted.
There's ZERO reason a stealership should need a complete VIN to order a standard MOPAR replacement interior part.


I hate to admit it, but my first impression is that you're trolling for VIN for less than honorable purposes....

 

Surprising, most hate the wood grain trim and "want" the carbon fiber type trim 06 sport owners have. I love the look of it.

 

What are you talking about? I have an 06 Ram Laramie and it has woodgrain?

Best bet for a vin is go to ebay seach ram truck with year and you will find many trucks giving there VIN's and showing interior pics.So you can chose the ones with the proper radio in it.Also I would love a sport interior radio bezel with the carbon fibre look.Can't stand the woodgrain look either.

 

I have the wood grain... Prefer it greatly over the carbon or aluminum look.
And no. Won't post my VIN. (Can be used to social engineer too much info.)
