Default CAI Air dam/heat shield

Hey All

As I stated a couple months ago I did the Ebay CAI with a K + N Filter but it didn't come with a airdam/heat shield I'm planning on building one but was wondering what if there are any advantages or disadvantages to puting one on?

I know that most of the AiRaid and AEM CAI come with an airdam/heat shield with their product. Am I just wasting time or will it help at all and worth the building. I love building/fabbing stuff so it would be ok making it. I'll probably be making it into a C shape shield to get as much air flow directed into the filter.

Stay Cool, H-

Default RE: CAI Air dam/heat shield

These pictures were before I cleaned the engine bay with the Simple Green and then I hit it with ArmorAll. 100% better now. Thanks dtharp for the info on up loading the pictures.
