I don't know what to tell ya about the idle problem, but I have the same problem on my almost stock 04. Only performance mod is the flowmaster muffler. If I'm cruising and give it teh gas, it will pick up but not drastically. I need to press the gas harder for the trans to downshift to get the gear right to accelerate. Is it an actual bog where it noses over, or just you press the gas and nothing happens? The premis is teh same as with a stick in 6th and giving it the gas, just that it takes a second for the trans to kick down.

You are in OD with the converter locked up at 60mph. Unless you get it to downshift, it will bog. They all do that.

The idle going up and down a little when the ac is on may be caused by the pcm. When the compressor comes on, it raises the idle a little to compensate for the lost hp.

On some vehichles, that is really noticeable.

nope...its because the 06s have the mds.. it keeps it in fifth but kicks out 4 cylinders. so running on 4 at 60 in 5th gear will do it....saves gas. step on it and it punches the four other cylinders into use... happens only when your cruising for a little bit at that particular speeds

Mine has the same bog at about 2500-2800 rpm's. usually does it in 2-3rd gear. I will wait untill my first free oil change to have them look at it.
