Default What Gas to Use?

I am going to take a trip from California up to Washington State. I am going to have a load in the bed and towing a car. I am wondering if it would be better to use 91 octane instead of 87?

use 89, not 93 and also run Fuel Injector Cleaner in it man. You will see an mpg differance...plus it will clean out ur fuel rail. I had to do that when i clogged mine.

also, STP fuel injector cleanor is good. Anything that is a brand that u have heard of should be good. Just as long as its not something like "Bubba Joe Bob's New-fangled Injector Cleaner". Try what Eatsleepdrivesc suggested....that stuff works but its too expensive for me.

I use Lucas products. Anything above 89 octane is a waste of money IMO.

Well if you had a SRT-10 Ram would you put just 89octane in it or would you put the best gas 93 octane or higher in a viper engine truck?

I drove my 03 with a 6000lb trailer from TX to CT. I put it on perf. towing w/the Superchips (91 oct) and never had any problems the whole way, except for going up some of those TN mountains...

Your logic is flawed and has likley cost you alot of money. Higher octane doesn't make it better. If you vehicle doesn't require high octane fuel (hemi rams don't), you will receive no benefit from running it. Your wallet will just empty faster.
