the sound system, go to the Audio/Visual section over there and get many opinions. For a 1500, you should get 1 or 2 10inch subwoofers, dont get any size bigger. I found some really sick subs on crutchfield and they sound awesome! they hit super hard! The DVD screen... for your in-dash stereo or for overhead or headrest dvd? help me out kid. illl tell ya ll you need to know about systems in a car.

RE: MODs and stuff
there is no way that 2 12's are gonna sound clear or loud in a truck, unless you completely customize the subwoofer box which in that case, is a ****load of money. i have 2 10's in my truck and they are very clear and very, very loud. in your truck, if you were to put 2 12's in there, you would only be able to hear them inside yourt truck and it would be very distorted. give me a price range for 1 or 2 subs, and a price range for an amp, and i'll find you a great combo. remember, bigger doesnt matter, its the amount of airspace you have. bigger subs require more airspace. dont go with anything bigger than a 10. 8's and 10's would hit WAY LOUDER than any 12 or bigger size sub out there in your truck in a regular box. its all about the airspace my friend. PM me if you have anymore questions. i dont come to this forum too often anymore. i stick in the Audio/Visual one.
