going to do the 30k spark plug change right away and i was thinkin about putting the shorty cross over wires on from MSD. Has anyone done this, and if so what kinda gain do u get from this?? Any more fuel efficient or a little gain in power at all or is it just a waste of $120. Thanx

 

nobody has used shorty wires on their HEMI????

 

I'm running Taylor shorty wires. Great product at about 1/2 the price of what you indicated the MSD shorty wires are. No gains in power, fuel economy, but a bit smoother at idle. Also cleans up the engine bay.

 

I know TAYLOR now has the 409 PRO RACE HEMI 10.4MM PLUG WIRES available in BLACK RED & BLUE... we just started to carry them.

bought my shorty wires and NGK plugs from air ram site. Had the best price and good service. What I noticed, like stated above, the engine seems smoother. I feel like the engine is smoother across the entire RPM range. I was skeptical that I would notice any difference from plugs and wires but im pleased with the result.

 

Just a question here it was my understanding that the shorty's were bad for the Hemi because they make it run to lean. Has anyone heard otherwise. I am running MSD wires now and love them. I was seriously considering the shorties till I heard that.
