Default keyway lift

I just got a keyway leveling kit in the mail that I bought off ebay. My uncle has an auto body shop and not even he will go near the torsion bars. Says I should goto a truck repair place. Does anybody know how much that will run me?

Save yourself the time and $ and tighten your torsion bolts, then return the keys. Same results, less time, $, and headache.

Don't need to lift the truck up. Can be done with the truck on the ground. Measure current height first, tighten bolts 3-4 turns, apply pressure to front end to unload torsion bars, re-measure and tighten bolts to desired height (do not increase front end height by more than 2.5"). Can be done in 10-15 minutes then have a alignment done.

Jack up the front end first. Then crank the T bars. Let it back down and try to bounce the front end a few times to help settle it. Then drive it straight to an alignment shop. Some have stated that they needed new, longer shocks while others have said that the stock shocks are OK. Dunno for sure about that.

Can also be done on the ground. 2.5" will get you close to level, maybe and inch difference or so.
