So, I have a 2006 Ram1500 3.7L V6. I know that a tonnaeu cover will give me better gas mileage. What else will give me that AND power? I heard exhaust and air intake. Is this true? What else can I get for the better mpg?

 

I have a tonnaeu cover on my V8 and it did help with gas mileage, but I have been looking up some parts for my buddies 3.7L V6 and here is the best parts for your money 4.10 gears(that needs to be done first) cold air intake, new Exhaust and a set of Power wires from ram air. You can also get a Jet chip but everything I have read about it says it does not really help your truck so dont waist the money or give it a try and let me know so I can tell my buddy. But another upgrade that I am going to stress to my friend is New shocks it will help your ride alot!

one thing to warn you about exhaust....when a lotta people put on exhaust to get better mileage but they end up getting worse because they like hearing their truck roar when they take off..

 

yeah, i know. even though im young (18) i have a featherfoot. i am concrened for the mileage, and the sound is a plus. i know i will not punch it to show off. i dont have much money to waste on gas. i need it for the accesories needed for better mileage so less gas is wasted and put tio good use. know what i mean?
