speaker question
sweet thanks. I think I'll just replace the door speakers with polks and see how it sounds.
Then if I decide I need more I'll do something with the 10" infinitys I have. But I'll probably sell them to pay for the polks.
thanks for all of your help

Why butcher up an RCA cable?
Then you are putting amped power into a pre-amp input...that won't be good for your amp.
I put JL 10"s in my '06 quad.
I just tapped into the rear door speakers, routed the wires through the B pillar, under the carpet, to the back of the cab, and wired them into the high level input on the amp.
Works wonderfully....original head unit, original door speakers, but now have 2 10" subs and a big amp to power them.
