well since yall have the same engine and his is alot heavier id say you won fairly...also the power wagon is an offroad package so yeah theyre not gonna be fast. there are some guys on here that have em and they are pretty capable offroad but by no means a race truck.

I might race ya in the snow, dirt, or rain, but never on the street.
My truck's a helluva lot heavier than a 2WD 1500 QC.
Just for starters, I've got a 136lb. electric winch behind the front bumper.

You have about a 1,200# weight advantage. And if he's like me he has a couple hundred #'s of tools, etc. in it. PW only advantage is 4.56 gears. I doubt that's enough to win a drag race. I might get you off the line but at a roll, no way!

You should have beat him in a sprint.
That being said, my dream is to one day justify owning a Power Wagon.
I see it as the old farmer's tale...

A young bull and a seasoned, big old bull are standing on a hill, surveying a pasture of cattle below.
The young bull, full of hormones and the power of youth, is telling the old bull how he's going to run from beauty cow A then run to B, run to C, run to D and get himself some fine tail..
The old bull looks at the young one, grins and says, "Go run you *** off... I'm gonna STOLL down this here hill and SCREW THEM ALL."

That's how I see the PW vs others.
