I have bully as well. Got it at Pep Boys for under $20 and install took less then 5 mins. Wanted one for the dumb a$$ kids that pop door handles looking for anything that is unlocked so they can steal, granted they can get in if they really wanted to since I have a soft cover.

Look at it this way..........
Manual lock......cheap
quick install
But extra key on the chain
Power lock.......55-100 bucks
Not quick install, but not an all day job
hooks into factory power locks....no key
I just installed a power lock from autotruck toys and it works great. You will not pull the handle past the lock mechanism on this unit, and secures anything under my cover.

sounds like a winner either way, but for me the reason i did not do the power option is this is not the first vehicle the remote has died or needed a new one. does the power option have a back up or revert to a manual option if that or the solenoid gets stuck? just a good thing to know in a worse case situation.

That's a very good point. I've had one on my Dakota R/T for 6 yrs and never an issue though.
