Default The 2007 Model Truck War

Judging by the press release, GM is coming on pretty hard for their 2007 redesign. Many of the specs match or trumph the bold statements made by Toyota on their own redesign of the 2007 Tundra, particularly in terms of hauling capability and class leading fuel economy and power. They also attacked their biggest problem areas, mainly the ultra-crappy interior and the large gaps in paneling. It'll be interesting to see how Dodge, Nissan, and Ford respond with their next generation trucks, compared to what GM and Toyota are bringing to the table this coming year.

Im liking the design of the sierra over the silverado. The silverado looks more like a Toyota Tundra in that pic. I actually liked the design and look of the 05' Silverado. I love the late 60's to mid 70's models in bothe the chevy and GMC pickups the most though! But both of the interiors are looking alot cleaner and alot nicer than the 05'-06' models though.

I'm not really sold on the styling. It looks like a bigger Colorado/Canyon. Power numbers are impressive, though. Gotta love HP[sm=badbadbad.gif]

My gf's uncle just got the new Darryl Waltrip Edition Tundra. Looks like a Tundra with a billet-type grille and a Darryl Waltrip sticker stuck on the rear fender. Comes with dual exhaust. Less horsepower than we have. Looks OK but I would've bought a Ram.

The underside of the model year 2007 GMT900 Silverado and Sierra pickups
are supposed to parts, frame rails, and sheet metal arranged to have less wind resistance.

Look underneath. Look smoother?
