got isssues with my 03 2wd 1500 4.7. engine light came on right after a/c was blowing warm air for long periods before getting cool. got a friend to come and looki(journeyman mechanic)found my a/c fan fuse to be blown,replace fuse and pop, but now would not shift out of park. my guy unhooked shift cable link from tranny and no prob to shift by hand, reatatch and no shifting, unplug plug in just below coloum shifter and it shifts into all gears replug it into shift cable and nothing!!!! any help out there???what is this unit on the shift cable? why is my engine light on? if problem is fixed will the engine light go out or do i need to get the computer booted by the dealer/(no wareny left 120k)
