ya but that 155 is only on a 5 mile oval...some of these guys here are running 5 miles of straight open road. they do top speed runs like that on a closed course, which in most cases is the Arizona Proving Grounds. like i said...thats on a 5 mile oval where you can't truly see how fast the car can go its just a test to see how fast it can go in that period of time. they run the test both ways and average the reading. thats why alot of people have run their vehicles out to faster speeds then what the manufacturer or whoever says it can go. i personally believe our rams will go 140+ with the RIGHT stuff done to them...I wouldnt take a stock truck up to those speeds. Id have it lowered and a good aero package on it do I didnt start floating at high speeds.

Ill agree with you on this Ive never taken my truck up that fast through turns or slight cornering just on straight aways where I have a long and i mean LONG stretch of highway to cruise down when I hit upwards of 120. The best place I found to do this is the long flat stretch in Arizona as your heading up to vegas going through the kingman area where its nothing but flat srtaigt road for miles until you hit hoover dam. and even going that fast I was still getting past!!!! Ive also raced a few trucks and gotten up to those speeds but it wasnt a 1/4mile stretch it was more like flooring it for a 1/2 mile to a full mile nonstop.........

hello, ive got an 03 quad cab hemi slt, the other morning, on my way home from work, i got it up to about 108 mph, and i didnt start getting any vibration from the speed until i got right around 105. it shocked the hell out of me that it was that smooth, in the past when driving other cars or trucks they usually seem to get that vibration when i would get up to about 90 i would have went faster but speeding tickets are 10 dollars for every mile over. and at 105 it would have costed $400 so i decided to ease up a bit.

You also know that going 20mph over the speed limit (at least in AZ) is also a felony charge too on top of the fine and I think that it went up from $10 per mile over too...... You just gotta watch out where you're doing your racing/speeding. There are only about 10 roads around my area where I can really race with my friends and have been doing so for quite a few years now and there are never any police roaming around cause its all in undeveloped areas and flat desert so we'd be able to see them way before they can tell how fast we're moving......
