does anyone know whether the basic rancho shock is better than the basic skyjacker shock. i want a good all around shock for offroading and street use. any info would be great, thanks in advance.

well skyjacker offers a lift that includes blistien shocks. im loving those. my friend has jus regular skyjacker shocks on her truck and that truck is a 1996 and she got the lift on in 1997 and it rides great. no problems offroading at all. trust me i know

Bilstiens are great, almost a bulletproof shock. I have the edelbrocks on my '05 and they do pretty good. going down rough trails are much easier now. the edlebrocks have an inertia valve setup that seems to work pretty good.
