I bought my mufflers (Super 40s) from Advance Auto for $170 and a guy here did 3" piping from the cats back and threw in 2 4" Silverline stainless tips for $250. Looks and sounds awesome.

I have a 4.7 L, V8 and had a fowmaster 50 series installed today! The system has dual exhaust coming out the rear with stainless steel flowmaster tips. I chose the 50 over the 40 because I wanted a decrease in cabin noise, but don't get me wrong, this system sounds BAD A$$. It sounds amazing! Paid around 400 for the system and install at a local performance muffler shop. If you want cheap, I hear Midas has a "knockoff" flowmaster called the Ravin, which is just as agressive as the flowmaster 40. Midas can get one installed for under 200$, and the flowmaster 40 for 249$ out the door. Hope this helps!
