Bah! My bad, yeah, you're right Cyclone... 300! Must still be stuck on the 89 302 v8 I help my cousin rebuild 3 times before he saw the light and went Mopar..

I saw my 77 back in May (I sold her in 92!) ... still running and looks like all it needs is a passenger door and a paint job.. The farmer I sold it to for $700 has taken care of her.... might stop by and offer him $500 and a case of beer...

I love my 06. Best truck I ever drove.... just miss the nostalgia and simplicity of the oldies... Hell, I miss carb'd engines and messing with distributers.

Dont get me started on the oldies I had a half ton short bed 76' chevy with a small block 350 before I had to trade her in[sm=boink3.gif] but it had to go at the time. It was my first truck and I learned everything I know about engines, body work, emissions, carbs, oh those were the good old days! My dad bought it brand new off the show room floor back in 76' and then as soon as I could drive gave it to me. The OD had turned over at least twice before he gave it to me and the I put another 300k on her too.... It was fast as hell, looked great no rust, I had just gotten it all primed waiting for paint when it started acting up, I spent every weekend out working on it fixing something that finally gave out over the years, but man do I miss that rumble and power and feel of it. But now my new toy is almost done, Ive been working on a short bed reg cab half ton 67' chevy for the last 3yrs. So far its got a hand built fuel injected supercharged 454 GM creat engine, TH-350 Turbo Tranny, 9 inch rear end, hooker headers, electric cut outs and a true duel super 40 exhaust sitting on a GM performance suspension and riding on 18x10" Boyd Coddington Smoothie II wheels wrapped in Yokohama ADVAN ST 255/55R18 109W XL PR which are ZR rated for basically whatever you can through at them over 149mph. The only things I have left to do are deciding what color scheme I want on her for her paint and interior, Make the interior as comfortable and safe as possible and then take her down to the dyno and the track. Ive only been able to take it out a few times during the weekends for some fun just to see how she runs and man is she loud, mean, and insanely fast. You can feel the whole truck twist and turn when you punch it at a light, 100% pure adrenaline rush! I cant wait to get it finished and out on the strip once and a while. AND the best part about all of this is that its street legal, the down side I can only get about 8mpg out of it if Im lucky. It'll be a weekend driver.

............ Sorry bout that guess I got a little off track there. Well like I said before it all depends on what your engine is in or going in that'll make all the differences and changes to how much power it has, the towing capabilities, and how long it lasts.
