If you are really in the military and currently fighting for this country, I think you need a little R&R. And if you are;

People that actually try to help, you bash. You are getting out of control.

Please allow me to refresh your memory.

You asked how to disable the seatbelt chime in Dodge Rams.

You said;
"The reason I asked is becuase I am in Iraq and I got wounded so I have a 12 hours shift as an RTO, and I am boried! plus I am going to practice on a HUMMV seat belt."

My answer;
Uh, 12 hours RTO, please explain and what were your injuries? Also;
Not sure what boried is, but most us of think you meant bored. So please slow down and try your best to get your message across. Then you say you are going to practice on a HUMMV?? I guess you thought you were funny and that we would all get that joke.

Most folks here try to help. You said HUMMV, so a generous soul tried to help.

His response;
dude practiceing on a hummer seat belt will do a whole lot of nadda. Those seatbelts have no electronic sensors or anything in them except a simple little locking mechinism. So you are comparing apples to oranges. As our dodges complete a circuit which in turn stops the chime. If it is that much of an issue to wear your seatbelt you can do 1 of 2 things, 1. Ignore the chime cause it will stop or 2 connect your center seatbelt to the driver's and it will stop. Just remember though if you get in an accident and get injured Tricare may not pay for your medical bills if you were not wearing your seatbelt. I also hear seatbelts are a good thing, but that could just be a rumor. Just a thought.

Your response;
"Hey just to let you know the HMMWV was just a joke, but next time i will make sure to inform you of that. Second I was asking a question, and if you dont have an answer to the question dont reply".

My answer;
So another kind sole tries to help and you pretty much tell him to f off and not resond because he didn't answer the question that you, yourself really screwed up in the first place.

Then another kind sole explains to you how to stop the chime, (in case you are from NOLA, let me explain; that means DISABLE IT).

You say;
Listen here Baggot my question was not how to get my chime to stop, it was how to disable it. and it seems like everyone but you got that! So like I said before if you dont have an answer dont put in your two cents!

My answer;
No, nobody got it but you. He just tried to help.

If you are in fact in the military and defending our country, I solute you soldier.

But, this is the Internet. People can say whatever they want to say who they are, how they look, how old they are and whatever they want.

From your responses, I have a hard time believing that, unless you are a spoiled little brat that your parents sent to the military to get you straightened out, I ain't believing your story.

So far, its not working.

An American Soldier is always a friend and kind to friendly folks, you, have a problem.

Don't expect much help in the future. Just a friendly hint.

Where are you stationed, What is your mos and who is your CO?

Oh yeah, in case you ask, my history is none of your business. You stated your status, you answer it.

And, what the heck is with your islamic title?

when you post a post like this you are looking for attention. Well i searched your recent posts and found the last comment noted to you from Johndcjr1989.

quote from Johndcjr1989 from your seatbelt chime post:

i didnt know there was a way to disable it? i normally wear mine unless im at the deer lease and then i just connect my middle one like baddodge said but it would be nice not to have to do that when you dont really need a seatbelt but still dont want to listen to the beep. my dads doesnt do that so it must be an 04-newer thing.

P.S. how did you get wounded (im guessing/hoping it wasnt really serious since theyre only giving you a 12 hour break from the action)? i hope your doing alright i admire all our soldiers over there fighting for us and our country. thanks and hope you get better.
/end quote

your complaint does not seem valid??

Well Said Guys,

I hope that rakkasan1012003 realizes that when someone comes to this forum, they are accepted without prejudice or malice intended.

Most if not all the people I have met through this forum have been genuinly giving, with no harm intended. regardless of the question or need.

Perhaps he will re-think his attitude in the future. I know I have seen one individual banned from the forum in the past for similar posts. The moderators do a good job of
SURVEILLANCE here.

I do not wish for anyone to be banned, but perhaps realize that people come in all shapes and sizes---try to get along, and understand that they are trying to HELP YOU---

FOR FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Know what maybe you all are right and I just need some R&R I think I came in where with the wrong impression on some things, and who am I to judge someone. So I will go ahead and retract my current statment if that is at all possible. And give my sorrys where they are due! Either way I feel like a jerk now, so I guess thanks for opening my eyes and I hope no one stops helping me with my problem if I have them down the future.

If there are any problems in the future that you would like to express with a thread or a certain member, you may contact myself or another moderator via Private Message.

The Ram Section Moderators are:
Myself
Drew
Steve00Ram360
Tani1500 (2nd gen)

You may contact any of the above for Ram related assistance

As far as the topic, I believe it has been resolved. rakkasan has admitted fault. He has offered apologies to anyone that they are owed to.

We all make mistakes in life whether we like to admit it or not, and he should be given a second chance.

I will lock this thread. If you guys wish to continue discussing Military related topics, you may do so via private message or in the general section.

Thanks!
