Three firsts
Three firsts in three days.
I saw some interesting things over the last couple three days. I went up to my semi local dodge dealership to check the status of my truck on saturday on the way to drop off my girls truck at the not even slightly local dodge dealership where she bought it (my proportioning valve is inop if anyone is curious). They told me that parts were on order and that they would have a loaner for me on monday. On the way off of the lot I saw my first 07 Ram. It was a white dually HD. Only thing that I could see different were new red logos on the doors and really weird taillights (a la durango).
On the way back from dropping off old girls truck and looking at some corvettes (the dealer figured he can get me in one for a little less than I am paying for my truck) we passed an accident. One of the police cars on scene was a charger.... our local guys still all run crown vics, camaros and caprices. Kinda cool seeing a real mopar cop car.
Finally we took old girls loaner up to my dealership to pick up my loaner (Jeep Liberty... way nicer than I expected). On there lot was an 05 ram police truck. Never seen a Ram as a police vehicle. Kinda cool.

I saw A Dodge Charger, Police car here in Calgary on saterday, They sit a low lower thann a crown Vic, even with the light bar.
I'm 6ft 4 and I don't fit in the 300C, way to small for me, I doubt I would fit in a Charger, Daimler may be lending thier police specails out to law enforcement..

Ive seen the ram police truck and the unmarked charger police cars driving around the freeways here but the one that I see take down more and more racers everytime Im out in east Mesa is this all black 67' Camaro. He'll pull up next to a ricer or anyone whose in a "fast looking vehicle" and sit there and wait for them to make the move or rev their engine and as soon as they peel out and floor it past the speed limit he flips on his lights and pulls um over. I was out with my old truck one time and was stopped at a light with the camaeo on one side of me and this civic on the other which was reving at me and when the light turned green and I sped up to the speed limit and he flew by me I could watch the camaro flip on its lights and fly by me to get the other guy.... One of the main reasons why I only really race people I know..... Cops are getting even more tricky now days!!!!
I work for the Sheriff's Department in a Wyoming county. Lots of dirt roads so a passenger platform is obviously not going to suffice and for a long while we ran Chevy 2500 Ex Cabs and Ford F-150 Crew Cab's. The introduction of the QC Ram sparked the interest of our Sheriff and now when we need a new vehicle, you can bet you @$$ it's gonna be a Ram QC. Hence my latest investment, an '02 Ram 1500 QC.
