Hey guys, I've got an 04 hemi ram with duel flowmasters, and was thinking of removing the cats to make it sound even meaner. Anyone else delete their cats? how does it sound, and is it worth it? I'm aware of the emission testing, i just wanted to know your guys' opinion. Thanks in andvance

I doubt dumping the cats will make for a HP increase worth the risk. As far as the sound, it will be louder, but more harsh. I prefer a smooth, even tone to my exhaust and after hearing other's with the cats off and no muffler, I'd prefer to keep them. This is on other trucks and not a Hemi so YMMV.
