i think im gonna go with the 1.5" spacers so i dont end up having to change the shocks. i found a pair for around $75.

How many miles you got on your truck? It just might be worth changing the shocks anyway. I mean if you are going to have to do it soon anyway then just got with the bigger spacer and get new longer shocks now.

The Day Star's are very easy! Just invest in a set of spring compressors ($25) they'll cut your time in half.
