Is there a front end kit available to convert an 05 Ram to and 06 Ram look-alike (grill, headlights, bumper, etc.)? I have an 05 3500 Laramie Diesel, but I like the look of the 06 front end better. Is there a kit available, or do I have to buy the pieces seperately?

Buy a new truck.

 

That would be the cheapest way.
Otherwise you need new fenders, headlamps, grill, facia.
If you want to change bumpers, the bumpers mount differently, and the frame is different, so you will need a whole new frame.

 

OK, scratch that idea then, I thought they were the same chasis etc.

I thought the 06 Heavy duty was the same chasis too... that only the 1500 changed. Only reason I say that is because most parts I am finding will mount to either body on the HD side.

 

They bolt right on at least on the 05 1500 with no problems. New fenders, headlights, grill, grill support, bumper cover, and cover supports all for less than 2K.

Yep, easy conversion. Just stripe off the old parts and put on the new ones.

You obviously haven't priced full size trucks lately. Pennys on the dollar at the moment.
If you pay 50K for that truck you have no business being a proud owner of a Dodge.

A Ford or Chevy perhaps, their owners are famous for being dumbasses but never a Dodge....LMAO!
