Oh my goodness will someone please take my $30K
About to be a first time dodge owner. Well, that is if I can find a dealer that will get me what I want. After seeing the prices of Big horned trucks, I decided that I wanted a Laramie with the extras but, are Laramie's that hard to come by? I did find one, but it is 500 miles away. Looks like a road trip is in store.

Well, if you are close to Sacramento, CA, Folsom Lake Dodge has over 500 trucks. They are pretty much blowing them out. I got my Ram Hemi Bighorn for $19,995. They had over 150 of just those. I saw plenty of other styles too. Hope you find what you are looking for.
I just bought my truck on 08/10/06.
I recommend you use the search inventory tool on www.dodge.com
Also print out the MSRP for the truck with the EP price and take it with you.
Every dealership I went to tried to give me only $1500 rebate instead of $3500.
A few also misquoted the EP price (higher of course) compared to www.dodge.com
I initially tried using the fleet sales manager at the local dealership.
After a week he had me convinced that there were no trucks with all the options I wanted and I had to settle for what he could get me.
After another week of him failing to get that truck I went online and found the exact truck I wanted about 60 miles away.
I also found 5 other trucks in the color I wanted that were very close.
I live near SF/ bay area CA, so it helps to be near some big cities.
just enter in the zip code of nearby cities and serch based on the options you want.

Folsom Lake Dodge is a good place for price but they are a bunch of assh*&^'s when it comes to after the sale customer service....my first dodge I bought from them in nov 03 and now they have a bunch of tools for salesmen it is easyer to go to another dealer in the area and have them just get the truck from Folsom Lake Dodge's lot and have it brought over it cost you nothing and you don't have to deal with those dip****s.....to bad this guy is in Montana hehe

They have been running those ad's for the Bighorn edition@ $19K for like two months now. I took the ad to Swift Dodge and they had NO problems matching the price.....they might not have had the inventory of Folsom Lake but they had what I wanted and I thought it was a pretty good experience. I took the AD to the Dodge dealer here in Marysvile and they wouldn't touch the price. They offered me a little more for my trade-in but they were still nearly $5k more then I ended up paying.

Ahhh-found what I wanted and got it. I did use the dodge website and found mine 500 miles from here. So, Left Friday night and was driving away at 1600hrs on saturday. Excellent dealer in Idaho. Gave me more for my trade ins than anyone else and outstanding sales service. Will post pics as soon as I shrink them down some.
