Which Drop Kit?????????
I am ready to purchase a lowering kit but just need some last minute advice. I am not sure which kit to go with. I was looking at the Mcaughy's delux and econo drop kits. Anyone have experience with the econo kit. It is about 200 bucks cheaper...the delux is about $550...anyhow, if you guys know of any other drop kits please let me know. This is for a 2005 Ram QC 1500. I am looking the 2/4.5 drop. Thanks fellas.
the difference between the eco. and deluxe. is the ride quality
the eco alters ride quality to be a little stiffer then factory when deluxe keeps practically the same ride quality
check out www.slammed1suspensions.com and email then they are very knowledgable about dodge drops if u have any questions

I took your advice and contacted and them actually got very quick responses. He did say both kits rode well but the delux would most likely ride better since it retained the factory specs and parts. He did mention that the econo and nitro active shocks would ride very smooth. Can anyone please confirm this??? I know there are a lot of people that have used the econo drop so I'd like to hear from them. Slammed also mentioned that the deluz drop was for those looking to go lower then 2/4 in the future (which I am not). HELP> I am ready to pull the trigger on this just need to be sure. THanks
Furthermore, I spoke to the dealership about warranty issues and Yes, this would void any warranty on the entire suspension. So Id have to rely on whatever warranty I'd get from slammed or mcaughy themselves.

try lookin at Ground Force lowering kits. i have a couple buddies here that have them installed on their trucks and i think the ride on them is far better then with any of the other kits. but to each his own
I have researched and researched and I found the most positive feedback from the McGaughty's Deluxe 2/4.5 kit. I got all the help I could handle from Brian (slammed1). He shipped my kit to me quickly and he will answer any further questions you might have. All Im waiting for is my vacation to install my kit. I say go with the deluxe
Yea, McGaughy's is a nice kit, but they are pricey too. Belltech is a good choice if you are on a budget. Hotchkis is in between them. Take your choice which one you want to use. Brian is a friend of mine, and I wouldn't want to take away from his deal. Just want you guys to know I sell them on my site too. I can't promote my site on here though as of yet. Got to get it lined out with dodgegirl19 first.
