Default Loud Exhaust

I have a 03 1500 with a Hemi that already had an exhaust system on it when I bought it. I don’t know what kind it is. I need to get a new one so I am wondering if anyone knows of a system that would be loud with a deep throaty sound.

if you want loud and deep you could take the muffler out completely and put a straight pipe in its place.
That would be loud and deep, and if you think that wouldbe to loud you could add a resonator after the straight pipe.
Loud Deep and free flowing.

see if hypertech or super chips has a programmer that enables you to take off your cadalidic convert and then put on two long headers then get an h pipe for it and get some magna flow mufflers or something.

A buddy of mine went from magnaflow to flowmaster and it seems as if flowmaster sounds deeper, but dual exhaust would get you the best sound and without mufflers is even better.

i'd go with a borla exhaust. borla makes our stock exhaust and the sound of the aftermarket borla exhaust is great. deep throaty sound but not obnoxious

you can always go to the exhaust websites like; flowmaster, borla, and magnaflow and listen to the sound clips and that will give you a good idea of what it will sound like. I've heard the clip for the magnaflow and to me it sound pretty good but that's just me. Hope this will help you in your decision

Huh? I don't have a chip. I have a flowmaster 40 series muffler, with the catalytic converters removed. Not one problem, except the noise. It sounds like an old chebby half ton with headers and straight pipe, from an idle to about 2200 rpm. When at full throttle, there is not much of a bark, but when it upshifts at 5700rpm, it sounds very sweet. The kids in this small canadian town, just love the sound of this hemi. The only other mod I have added to the engine, is a K&N air filter and this truck will stay even with a mid 90's camaro and this truck is an extended cab 4x4. A buddy of mine has an 05 dually, with the 3 position programmer and when its set at the 125 hp setting, after he gets traction, he walks all over my hemi, lol. Take care all.
