Default ram 1500 performance

I have a 2005 dodge ram 1500 quad cab with a hemi. I have only put a flowmaster muffler on it and changed the engine oil to amsoil. I was wondering if anybody has tried any of the intake kits available for this truck and motor and also the throttle body spacer. I would like any help so I can choose the right stuff that works good.

Forget the TBS....they are useless!!!! K&N, Airraid, and Airram are good intake kits!
Also consider a superchips programmer if u have the money.

Putting just the Flowmaster muffler on the truck will really not give you any gains. What it will give you, along with an intake, is some nice sound. An intake and that muffler may yield you 5-10HP, with most of it coming from the intake. There really is not a whole lot to squeeze out of the Hemi without going to internals, complete (headers back) exhaust, programming or forced induction/N2O. Even with all the bolt ons out there combined I would guess 20HP max. Note, I do not count a full exhaust as a bolt on, even though it really is

What chip would you recommend - superchips or hypertech and why?
