You can't go wrong with an inAR10. They have what it takes to do a lot of different tasks. 308 is an excellent caliber. An AR10, properly set up, is a minute of angle or better rifle.

For my own personal use, I like a bolt action 30-06 (Ruger MKII stainless with laminated stock). Do you handload for it or do you shoot factory loads? Are you using optics? What kind?

I think I already read what you paid in another post (19500?). Around here, I couldn't get anyone to move off the price set by emplyee pricing and a discount. That would have put my truck at around 27 or 28K. I did have one guy call me from a dealership and talk about doing something around 20K, but then he backed out of it.

Someone else wondered if the truck was a rental. I was persally owned and I bought it from the guy who purchased it new about 15 months ago.

Again, thanks for all the comments and opinions.

Yeah, thats about right. Some of this pricing just makes no sense. Folsom Lake Dodge has been running these for about three months now I think, prob. would have been worth flying here to buy a new one then drive it home LOL.

It's an early Armalite AR-10T with the parkerized 24" bbl. and the adjustable target trigger that they had to stop selling because they were violating somebody's patent... I'm using a Leupold 6.5-20
Don't shoot it, or the HK, much any more since it's now a registered assault weapon and only can be used at a rifle range. I used to handload 165gr Nosler ballitic tips with VV powder at near max vel. for shootin' ground squirrels at 200+ yrds. Minute of Angle, on a bad day...[sm=smiley20.gif]

That's what happens when you live in the Republik of Kalifornia. I am sorry to hear that your 2nd Amend. rights have been restricted in that way. What a shame for a rfle with such capability and such a wonderful optic setup on it.
