Default Hi beam and fog light harness

Has anyone tried this on their truck yet? I was thinking about it, just seeing if anyone had an opinion to offer up.

About the only thought I have on this is that, for me, it would increase road light reflection closer to the vehicle and would hinder my ability to see things beyond those lights. That may be a personal issue, but I thought I'd mention it in case you had similar issues.

I've noticed that, it is darker with just the high beams, but if I hold the high beams on while the fog lights are on, WOW thats a lotta light. Especially since I'm in southern VA right now with the outer bands of Ernesto making it sh!tty outside...

Just to be clear...I'm definitely not saying it's a bad idea...I just personally have a harder time seeing things in the distance when the fog lights light up the ground closer in. HemiLoneStar, when/if you put this on, you'll have to let us know what you think.

i would say that its a waste of money to spend on that.... all they are doing is using a wire to jumper two relays and they are gonna charge you 13 bucks for a wire and paper

I agree with you both. Money not well spent, and too hard to see things further away when closer things are lit up.

Is it really just a relay jumper? I've seen methods published on this site on how to do that but you get stuck with both headlights AND fog lights. It APPEARS that it doesn't interfere with normal operation except for turning the fog lights back on after you hit the high beams.

its probably just a wire and they jumper to the relays, why do you think they dont show you a pic of the product to install...all you really have to do it to get a high gauge wire and run it from the fog light relay and the high beam realy and you have just bought your self the wire... the pic is one i found from another site

Thats the thing I don't like...I don't want my fog lights on ALL the time, I just would like having the option of using both when I want...
