I have been reading some of these posts on the 3.7 upgrades and it was as I figured, there is not much out there huh? I have a 2005 Dodge Ram Quad Cab with a 3.7. I have a 3.91 gear in it already, not sure if going to a 4.11 would be a lot of help. I am interested in a cold air intake. I was reading about getting a Liberty manifold so I have just the one big tube from air cleaner to throttlebody. I am not sure what years will fit my truck. I am looking to up horses to about 250 and increase torque by 50 ft lbs. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks guys

 

well, i can only think of a power wire right now. the power wire will add between 8 and 10 hp. i have one put in my '06 3.7L 1500. i noticed a bit of a difference and it gave me better gas mileage. it added about 1-2 miles/gal

What air intake system does anyone recommend for this truck. I have found kits on Ebay from $60- $250. Unsure of which one to use. would like open K&N filter with one big tube from air filter to throttle body. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

 

a power is this little wire (easy to put on, takesd like 45 sec. no joke) which makes your computer think the air is 20 degrees cooler and lets 2% more fuel go through so you get more power and better mpg. heres the site:
