trailer light problems
Hello out there. I'm new to this forum and thought I would see if anyone can help me. When I have my car trailer
hooked up, sometimes the right trailer brake light stays on all the time. The lights on the truck all work normally.
The wiring on the trailer is fine because when this happens the pin in the truck connector is hot all the time. I have
tryed to find a wiring diagrams that shows where this signal is produced. There has to be a control module somewhere
that takes the two inputs (brake and turn signal) and produces the proper output to the trailer plug. Is this a solid state
device or uses old fashion relay outputs. It acts like a relay sticking. Thanks for any help.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but from what I know, there is no relay in the trailer. are the turn signals working on your truck fine? Maybe a wire is crossed, or you have a burn't out light on your trailer.
