Exhaust exit placement
What would be a better look for an exhaust exit?? I bought a performance muffler and I have two choices, I can either put the stock pipe back in so it exits behind the passenger tire, OR I can make it exit before the passenger rear tire. I'm not sure of the look will work well on this type of application (03' QC 1500 hemi). Let me know!!
hah is that true?? Yea, my dad suggested behind the wheel too because I have running boards and he says it will look too clustered with all that there. But yea a nice chrome tip is what I'm going to be looking into getting next.
I have the same dodge as you and is it possible to run a tip on both sides in front of the rear wheels or will the gas take get in the way.. and what muffler are you going with im thinking of dual flowmaster super 40's.
Several of the Roush F-150s have side exhaust in front the passenger rear wheel, and most hopped up Stangs have the side exhaust coming out the same place. Not saying the discoloratin theory isn't true, but if it is I think spending that much on a car would automatically denote a rework to the exhaust system.

Its in and it sounds nice. Its not loud but it has a deep grumble to it. Thats all I wanted. Worked out nice with the stock tailpipe...besides the fact Midas charged me 76$ for a 10" piece of straight pipe to fill the gap with the shorter muffler. damn ripoff...
