I have a question about distributing hitches. My hitch is label that it has a wc of 6000 and a wd of 12000 pounds that is gross trailer weight. It also has a wc of 600 and a wd of 1200 that is tongue weight. If this information is correct then I guess without a weight ditributing hitch I cannot tow more than 6000 lbs and/or exceed a tongue weight of 600 lbs. I really have been abusing this thing then. I have been pulling things up in the 10,000 to 12,000 lb range. Is it common for people to ignore this information or am I running out of luck. Thanks
