I have a flashpaq, and when towing, I still get the converter lock in and lock out constantly. I heard there is a reflash that the dealer can do to eliminate that problem. My question is if I reinstall my stock program, then go to the dealer and have the reflash done, what will happen when I get home and reprogram with the flashpaq? Will it erase the new reflash the dealer did and continue to search for a gear while towing, or will it be fixed?

 

the flash is only for tow/haul mode.

 

But after the dealer installs the reflash, won't my flashpaq take it out and store it in the stock mode, then install the flashpaq software? Or will the dealer reflash stay along with the flashpaq software.

 

The flashpaq will retrieve the match to the new file from the database that uses the dealers fix that was just installed.

Tell me more about this flash, does it just disable TQ manegment, and only works when in Tow/Haul mode?
Is this flash availaboe for the 06's?

The only flash I know about, I try to keep a close eye on these guys, is one for 06 Ram. The tow package harness was redesigned and could case issue with the tipm and more specifically - no lights when towing without you knowing it.
