For the guy that raced the F250 congrats. i haven't beat any diesle ive raced yet. although all i raced was the durmaxs because where i work thats all the guys drive are chevy. mainly because of the smooth ride they don't need to pull nothing but there campers to work. its either the duramax or the ****ty little 6.5l because of free deisle. im not to worried about getting free fuel because i clear 6500cdn a month so if i can't afford fuel well theres something wrong. the only reason the durmaxes beat me was because they were chipped. diesels are making insane hp with a 500 dollar programmer or something. that f250 would have been stock for you to beat him. around where i live you see mostly powerstroke and cummins. after owning my dodge i wouldn't want a powerstroke i like the looks of dodge way better. although the 2008 powerstrokes are cumming out with a 6.4l twin turbo with 600hp. hope cummins will make something better. but i don't know why you need a truck with that much hp. there not like those little ricers with the huge fart cannon on it. there a big 5000lb truck made for pulling something. although its funny when a civic pulls up beside you and wants to race and you walk all over it with a 5000lbs QC ram.

 

i havnt had a 5k lb QC ram walk me in my civic yet..them lil 4 cylinders are nice.. i get good gas mileage and i can run a 12 sec pass in the 1/4 mile.

 

Ya well do you want to race through the stubble field. or through 4 inches of mud.

 

In responce to FD3sxiong, I can say yes the wankel is an amazing engine. I had a FD 93 four six years with a similar set up to yours . Bought the Hemi ram three years ago , got the house and had two kids . After that the RX wasn't going to hold my family or haul any of my builing supplies. With the dodge I get the best of both worlds. Will never compare it to the fun I had with the FD but the performance on my Hemi gives less of a headache and more time to spend with the family. Upmost respect for the FD's and hope your enjoying yours , they take up alot of your time but they are f---- awsome. For know I'll stike to my dad-mobile with some kick-*** power. Maybe when junior gets into his teen I'll get back into the FD's.

...yup, with Diesels, i always look for the programmer next to the window...if it has one, i don't dare, unless i want to see how my mods hold up...if it doesn't, i eatem up....an f250 powerstroke tried to race me today...from a red we hit it at the same time...but when I openned her up i walked away, the new cam is a wonderful thing....

 

sure my hemi is 4x4 i needed it for where i work or i wouldn't even make it near some of the places that we are at sometimes.
