Default rim width

i need to know the width of the stock 17" rims on a 05 ram 1500. i know it says it on the white sticker on the door jam but my truck orginally had the 20" wheels, but we had the dealer switch them to the 17's to save some money

not sure on the width, too tired to go downstairs and outside to check but obviously the bolt pattern would be the same as your 20's. i'll check the width tomorrow if someone doesn't before me, are you buying new rims?

They are 17x8 rims, and the bolt pattern is 5x5.5

backspacing in 4.5". which seems to be typical for most aftermarket wheels also.
