Go to ebay and put in HID for Dodge ram. Thats where I got mine at, and they halogen blue. And speeddemon, I'd say they would have a tough time enforcing that because every luxury class car has the HID kits on them(BMW,Lexus, etc.)

silentblinder, yea if they don't say D.O.T. approved then the cops will ticket you for it. As for the luxury cars having them, they don't have a cheap colored bulb, the system they have is an actual H.I.D. lighting system (ballasts, ignitors,etc...). The bulbs you can buy in auot arts stores are made to look like and HID system but don't put anywhere near as much light. Besides in most every state if your car/truck didn't come with a true H.I.D. system then it is illegal to have one installed.

The blue lights suck anyway, if you want to see at night don't bother. Here's a link to a good website from a guy who seems to know what he's talking about. From personal experience, if you want to actually see at night ditch the bulbs with a blue tint...

What you are after are Nokya Artic White bulbs. I installed these on my '06 and it's the closest you will find. Got mine at autothing.com.

My Arctic White I bought at Autothing.com just blew out 2 weeks ago after a little over a month in the truck. I had the higher wattage ones and they're not selling them anymore because of a problem with these bulbs. Most bulbs are labeled "Hyper White" or "Hyper Blue"...I forgot the manufacturer that AutoZone sells but those are the cheap, basic aftermarket bulbs. Lightlens.com has a set called Roadmax that I would like to trey but they don't make them for the 2006 trucks. I'm looking for the whitest looking bulb with no blue but I don't wanna buy an H.I.D. kit.

The HID lights do look nice but the one thing they lack is in the distance the light travels. Line up two trucks on an empty highway or feild and have one with either the stock lights or a bright white (not blue) bulb and have the other with the HID lights and have them hit their brights. at a distance the HID lights will light up an area a little bit but once the other truck turns its lights on the same place the out put will dorf the HID lighting making it look like a spot light in comparison. So if your just doing it for looks and drive around the city then fine but as far as night time highway driving I wouldn't recomend them
