Is the 7/70 transferrable.?
If you sell it to your friend outright - DCX has no idea that there is a new owner, and therefore you wouldn't even have to transfer the warranty for the $150 fee if applicable. When he takes it in for service he just has to use your (last) name.
The warranty can be transferred for a fee of $150. I'm not sure if there is a time allowance from the point of sale and the transfer of title. There are always those that slip things in the fine print so that a situation can benefit them, the case here would be for DCX declining a warranty claim because the warranty was not transferred within xx days. Just double check the warranty fine print.
No time restraint... imagine a car sat on a dealers lot for 120 days... the warranty can be transferred at anytime.
Also, keep in mind DCX has no idea when that car was sold privately.
