Hey... well I dont have much experience with other CAI ... but the reason I picked the Brute force was because it atvertised the most RWHP... it advertised 19 RWHP gain... now that is alot if you ask me... i know this is a very debateable subject... but I will say that I was very pleased with the results... performance and sound... the Brute Force has a heat shield that flushes up with the hood when the hood is closed... some I have seen use the original air box... all sorts... but I think you are doing the righ thing... ask in here these guys will tell you... everyone has either tried or know someone that has tried almost every product.... but again as for the Brute Force... I believe that's the same PROCESS for all 3rd Gens, but the fuse may change. Just has to be the PCM fuse.
