Default resonator removed **SOUND CLIP NOW HERE**

well a couple months ago i put a flowmaster delta flow muffler on my 5.7L and it sounded alright but just wasnt loud enough, so i finally got around to chopping out the resonator and putting a chrome tip on the end. All i have to say is WOW removing that little box makes it sound soo much meaner and better. I will get some sound clips this weekend hopefully and post them. Also pics of the new tires and rims that went on yesterday to.

hopefully this works

I have an '06 as well. Initially, I removed the factory muffler and replaced with 33.5" of 3" straight tubing.
It sounds great, but under full throttle it gets really poppy. So I purchased a Flowmaster catback with 50 series mufflers.
The 50 series are definitely a louder muffler and it completely removed the resonators so my truck is fairly loud now.

However, you can get a Flowmaster catback with 60 or 70 series that are fairly quiet. Have a look on flowmasters
website and it'll tell you which mufflers are reasonable.

it had a little rumble to it but wasnt loud at all, with the sterio going and driving down the highway at like 120km/h you could barely hear it. Now u can definetly hear it. Still havent got a sound clip though.

I have an 06 and put a flowmaster 40 series on. I removed the rear resonator, but left the front one. it sounds deep and mean! i love it.
