Lifting/Leveling 2003 Ram 4x4 - best way?
I thought that for the Hemi rams the smallest lift you can go with is a 5" lift. 6" would be too high and impractical unless your into serious mudding. i was thinking of going with a pro comp 5" lift for my 03 hemi. but i want to put air bags in the back so the truck sits more level. a dodge or ford with a 4" lift would sit as a high as those ****ty chevys with a 6" lift. if you go with a 5" lift or what ever i would put 35" X 12.5" tires on it. big tires on small rims looks awesome. you can find a nice set of 17" rims and good mud tires for just as much as it would cost to get mud tires for 20" rims.
So you can stuff 35s with out a lift?
Awesome i was wondering if i could do that or not, i got a levelin kit on the way, but i was wondering if i could stuff some bigger rubber up in the tire wells. This is great news to me. then with the 3 inch body and a 6" suspenson lift coming too sweet ride.
Sorry bout high jacking the topic.
