just bought a 3500 CTD (just learned from the forum that I own a "CTD" took a minute to figure out what all the CTD trucks were ) mega cab and I love it! it has the base sound system though which i like because it has the front input for my ipod but i want to add the dodge sat radio from them. does anyone know if the base cd 4 speaker system will accept the factory sat radio tunner. Also will it work with the uconnect i got my truck with and not take up the aux function that is currently used by the front input. Also the parts photo shows the sat radio tunner box and the antenna with very short wires. Is the truck pre wired for this and ready to connect (antenna ect.)?

as far as the radio working with uconnect, sat radio, and the ipod hookup, yes it will. my 1500 has all three working together.
