Do you guys have the same problem with headlights...
When i park the car to get out, i put the car in park..take out keys..then turn the headlights off, but the lights are still on. i gotta turn the light **** again and back to off. what is this???????
RE: Do you guys have the same problem with headlights...
It's to allow you to make it in your house or wherever while the truck provides you some light. If you don't like it just turn off the lights before you turn off the key and it wont happen.

I've noticed mine doing that sometimes. I always thought it was just me. I usually turn them off before the ignition so it doesn't happen to often. At least I know it's now a quirck of my truck.
RE: Do you guys have the same problem with headlights...
Like was said, it's not a quirk... it's a feature. The Dodge trucks do it, Jeeps function the same way (and I'm not sure of any other vehicles). But when I park somewhere at night, I like to have the extra light as I'm walking away from the truck, so I purposely turn the switch after turning the key. Now all I wish is that there was a way to turn the headlights on when approaching the truck, rather than just flashing my parking lights at me.

if you turn the ignition off before you turn the lights out it does it, and if you tuen the lights out before the ignition goes off then it wont...at least this is my experience...but it annoys me when they stay on...i dont need light to get into my apt.
