Default High & Low beams at same time???

Does anyone know if there is a relay or other type of switch outt here for the ram so when you turn your brights on the low beams will stay on alwo. JCWhitney sells one for the old chevys but i can not find anything for the Ram. I have a 2002 1500. OR if some one has some schematics, im pretty good at wireing i could probably build my own.
Thanks ERIC

Well i figured it out. I thought the truck had a seperate section for high and low. but it does not. The outside section is actually the running lights/blinkers. The head light high and low are the same bulb. Oh well.

thats one thing i absolutley HATE about the Rams. I hate the high beams. As much as I hate to say it, thats where the F-150s have us beat. I drove my dads Expedition and the high beams are amazing it's like day again hahaha. I cant stand the ones in the Hemi.

Because its illuminating both the regular and bright filimants in the bulbs. You will notice the headlamp connectors have three wires. The ground, regular, and bright wires.
There was a how-to floating around here on when the high-beams are on to illuminate the low-beams as well (that may have been in the Gen 2 Ram section I don't remember).

I would be happy to have my fog lamps and high-beams on at the same time. The fogs turn off whenever you swith to highbeams. Any ideas for an override?

You could try wiring a jumper between the low beam and high beam wires, that way, when either wire gets power, they both illuminate. You will run the risk of burning your bulbs out a lot quicker though. I changed my stock bulbs with Sylvania Silverstars, they are twice as bright as stock.

My truck didn't have fog lights stock, so I got some PIAA 540's. They are like flood lights bolted to the front bumper. All I did is take apart the truck light switch, and shot the back of it for power whenever my parking lights turned on. That way, when my parking lights are on, there is power going to my fog light's on/off switch. So I can run my superbirght fog lights with my high or low beam headlights, and really get on the nerves of people who want to ride my rear bumper!!!!

Do a search, there are SEVERAL threads about the jumper wire to make your fogs stay on with your brights, The down side is, the fogs stay on - ALL the time.

I would NOT wire it in such a way that both high and low fillaments are on at the same time. It gets WAY to hot and bulbs will bust way fast, along with posabley melting things if its on to long.
I am trying to figure out how to turn the blinikers on so the running light (one filament on) wired so both philaments are on at the same time so its super bright like the corvettes and camaros. If i figure it out ill let you all know!!!
