My prestige alarm system has an automatic start feature. But when I turn it on all it does is start and stop 3 times. I tried reprogramming it but every time I try to get into the program mode it doesnt work. Anybody familiar with these systems?? I dont want to have to drop money to get my auto start to work...and of course every other feature on it works.

Did you install it yourself or was it installed by an alarm installer?? Confirm that the key fob security chip was installed. It's a ring that's programmed like your security chip in your key to override the factory security. It usually gets mounted inside the steering column near your ignition. I have a Prestige alarm/starter and have no problems. Hope this helps!!!

i bought it with the truck. It worked at the dealership i dont know what happened since then haha. I'll take a look for that chip too. I know im probly going to end up taking it to my sound guy and having him check it out, he does prestige systems.
