Any truth to this?
I was just doing some searches and came across this on Titan Talk:
"Also, because of the way the 2004+ 5.7 Hemi manages air - it measures air density rather than air mass - doing a CAI on a Hemi is basically worthless until something like a Superchips programmer comes out - sometime in March 2005 rumor has it. So there really aren't any mods to a 2004+ Hemi that will do much for it at the moment - you can add dual exhaust - but that maybe at the expense of some low end torque."
I have a CAI and a banks monster exhaust and can definitely "feel" the difference, but haven't done any real testing.

LOL that is funny.... I have a CAI and a Hypertech PowerProgramer III.... I have no complaints what so ever and surely am not afraid to have a Titan pull up next to me... in fact I welcome it LOL.....
although i dont have a hemi, my intake kit is probably one of the biggest out there. afe stage 2 with the PG7 filter. massive flange at 6", lenght is 9" long. screams on the top end and until I just added an aero turbine muffler to bring back some low end torque, would flat out fly in the upper rpms. the more you flow, the faster you'll go...
I had a 2000 5.9 motor and used a K&N kit but swapped out the stock cone filter for a 6x9 one. made a huge difference. it is a recommended mod to the stock setup.
